I chose to do a water bottle because I was looking around the classroom to find something to do and I noticed a water bottle sitting on my table. I pictured in my head what the finished product might look like and I liked what I envisioned. I thought that the rivets in the bottle would be perfect shapes for pencils. Some of the problems I ran into while doing this project was with the coloring. It was sometimes hard to get the shade that I wanted for the pencils. The grey parts of the pencil were turning out to be smudgy and darker than I wanted them to. Overall, i am happy with this project. I have never been able to draw pencils and this project changed that. Im glad that I learned how to make the colors pop and im excited that it looks so well.
